The Northern Territory Government commissioned a review of the establishment of the Northern Territory’s Child and Family Centres (CFCs). CFCs provide a range of services on site including child care, Families as First Teachers and provide space for other community and social services to connect with Aboriginal clients. Akaltye supported the Australian Institute of Family Studies to undertake this review and consult with community members and stakeholders in Yuendumu and Alice Springs on the establishment, governance and operation of the CFCs.
